EURFC are back to winning way in their BUCS Super Rugby season at the moment following two big wins on the road as they look to secure a third in a repeat of last year's final against historic foes Durham.

Hot off the back of an impressive attacking performance away at Nottingham Exeter went away to Wales for the second time so far this season; this time they faced Swansea which would prove to be a confident performance.

On a wet and windy night in South Wales, Exeter were able to come out with a hard-fought victory against a strong Swansea side.
Starting fullback in both last week and this week’s game Ben Hammersley lauded the performance from EURFC against Swansea saying, “It was seriously nice tough especially in the conditions and just nice to come away with a win.”

Hammersley has had a tough start to the BUCS Super Rugby season after starting the first few games he has missed out on fixtures due to injury but is relishing the opportunity to be back starting in the squad: “It’s obviously tough missing a few weeks out but good to get back”

After two big wins on the road in previous weeks Hammersley spoke of the momentum that has built heading into a test against Durham: “Durham’s going to be a pretty tough place to go but momentums good heading into it… and as long as the boys bring their A game it should be good”

Head coach Rich Hodges keeps a largely unchanged team from the one that beat Swansea last week with only two changes to the starting XV.

In the pack the only change is Jared Williams starting at loosehead replacing injured Tom Harris meaning on the bench Chriss Freeman has the potential to make his BUCS Super Rugby debut after some stellar performances in National league 2 West.

In the backs Niall Armstrong moves from the bench and gets his first start at scrum half since the opening game against Hartpury. With this change Jake Murray comes onto the bench as replacement nine.

Kickoff is at 18:30 at Hollow drift with live updates available on the EURFC Twitter page.
