After a poor home performance last weekend against a well-drilled Luctonians side, EURFC will be looking for a response against in-form Dings Crusaders tomorrow afternoon.
Dings currently sit in second place in the league, having only lost once this season and will pose a formidable threat for EURFC.
One of the features of the result against Luctonians, was the pressure put on the side by the visitors' driving maul. Brushing up on that aspect of the game, alongside an increased emphasis on discipline have been the key targets heading into this weekend's fixture.
Whilst Dings sit in second place and EURFC side in sixth, such is the closeness of the league this season that only seven points separate the sides.
Tomorrow's Opponents:
Dings is one of the oldest clubs in Bristol, with its roots in Bristol stretching back over 110 years. The club was previously based in Lockleaze until 2018, before moving to Shaftesbury Park. The club won promotion back to the National Leagues in 2019, after several seasons in the South West Premier and finished 7th last season in National 2 South.
Team News:
There are several changes for this one, with Harvey Graham coming in for his first start for the club at fullback, rather than his preferred position of 10.
There are plenty of changes in the pack, with Jared Williams, Scott Butterworth and Archie Owlett forming the front row, whilst Rob Gordon and Will De Boehmler come into the side in the backrow.
On the bench, Niall Armstrong, Josh Cunningham and Kitan Ojo will all look to make an impact, as they are joined by Harvey Dunn and Tom Gulley.
Getting There:
Car: Dings play at Shaftesbury Park. Take the M5 northbound. Merge onto M4 and take junction 19 to join M32 at Bristol. From there, take the A1474 exit and follow signs for Shaftesbury Park.
