A fantastic start to the season against Chester last week proceeds our first taste or Topsham on Saturday.

Tries from the experienced heads of Owlett and Joseland as well as fresh faces Vajner, Gulley and Smears secured victory.

This week we welcome Hornets who started off their season with a victory over Loughborough.

A close encounter, in which thr Bristol based side edged the match up through superior kicking from the tee, and a strong forward pack.

Not too many changes for EURFC coming into this week, with Hodges and Elliot wanting to keep momentum going. The front row stays the same, but Cunningham is joined by Joe Bailey in the second row. In the back row, Brooke moves to 6 with Kane James at 8.

Will Smears comes in at 9 to partner Coen in the halfbacks. A completely new centre partnership sees both Chetser Ribbons and Charlie McCaig both return from long term injuries last season. Kofi Barton-Byfield and Kian Gentry also return from Chiefs duty, with Joseland shifting to fullback.

The only change to the bench sees Jared Williams return in preparation for his 1st appearance of the season.
