EURFC were put through their paces this week, as a physical Swansea University side travelled down to Devon, where Exeter kept their winning streak going, with a 52-0 victory over the Welsh side.
The side racked up nine tries in total, with Katrina Hayes and Abby Woollett scoring two tries each, alongside tries from Katie Buchanan, Lauren Summers, Lizzie Hanlon, Maddie Boocock and Emily Foster-Godley.
An early turnover from Phae Leveridge led to Exeter's first phase of attack, although the ball was soon back in Swansea's hands after a knock-on from Exeter. Due to a number of mitigating factors, scrums were uncontested for this one, denying Exeter one of their main weapons.
It wasn’t long though before Ti Sharp exploited a dropped ball from Swansea, leading to a stunning line break from Lizzie Hanlon, taking the squad into the Swansea 22 for the first time. Katrina Hayes then finished off the excellent phase of play, casually placing the ball over the try line to start the ball rolling for Exeter.
Soon after, Exeter were in again, as Maddy Boocock juggled the ball impressively, straight from kick-off, with a sweeping backs move enabling Katie Buchanan to tip-toe through Swansea's defensive line, running 60 meters to score under the posts less than a minute after Exeter's first try.
A textbook restart from Exeter and Hanlon was off again, bursting through the Swansea defence. From there, strong support play from Leveridge and Hayes led to Exeter's third try in 6 minutes, as Katrina Hayes crossed the try line for the second time in a relentless first period from Exeter.
Swansea though, refused to give in easily, with the strength of their defensive line quickly becoming apparent, as Exeter looked to build phases in attack.
Exeter were still relentless though, as a penalty kick to touch by Cummins allowed the forward pack to do what they do best, and a brilliant line-out led to a second try by Abby Woollett.
Two more tries followed, both from a brilliant display of Exeter's structure off the kick-offs, with Lauren Summers running in the first and Woollett outpacing two Swansea defenders to score the second.
Exeter were continuing to show a devilish attacking streak and it wasn't long before they were in again.
An impressive kick from Hermione Titcombe in the backfield set EURFC up for a lineout in the 22, which led to a phase of impressive attack from Exeter, although they were unable to break the defensive line. A line-out on the 5 metre line set Exeter up for a huge driving line-out and a sneaky snipe off the back of the maul sent Maddy Boocock over the line for yet another Exeter try.
In there second half, there was to be one final score for Exeter, as a brilliant pass from Grace Addison into Buchanan set up a perfect opportunity for Emily Foster-Godley to snipe who burst over the line to score the first try of the second half.
Swansea had one last attempt near the Exeter try line with a lineout, although they were turned over thanks to a monstrous tackle from Buchanan, that caused a knock-on, as the referee bought a halt to proceedings.
