3. SUPPORT OFF CAMPUS


There are variety of services you can access off campus. You may be recommended to access these services through the Wellbeing Services, or you can refer yourself if you feel you could benefit from support.

The NHS Depression and Anxiety Service (DAS) is a free service for people experiencing problems with low mood or depression, anxiety or stress. It offers a range of different types of treatments and therapies for people. You can be referred to the service through your GP, or you can self-refer using the online form or calling 01392 675630 for booking an assessment.

Pete's Dragons supports anyone who has had a bereavement by suicide across Devon. They provide specialist listening support from our Suicide Bereavement Liaison Officers, as well as practical information and resources. The charity also has counselling, wellbeing and holistic therapies available to clients. All of their services are completely free. Referrals can be made anytime after a death, and can be via email to admin@petesdragons.org.uk, a call to 01395 277780 or via the Facebook page.
